A few suggested activities in the area that you may want to check out on your own or in smaller groups. Unlike the options above you’d be responsible for transportation and organizing any additional people you’d want to go with. Go Karting would be on Wednesday the 11th in the morning tho as thats the only track time available.

IN ADVANCE BUT CAN BE SCHEDULE FOR ANY DAY THAT YOU CHOOSE. AUGUST 13TH IS THE DEADLINE FOR MOST ACTIVITIES.
Truffle Hunting
Fall in Tuscany is prime Truffle season. As you’re driving through the country side you’ll see cars pulled off and people walking in the hills with their dogs as they hunt for truffles. Luckily you don’t have to go off into a random forest, Tenuta Larnianone has truffles on their property! A truffle hunting expedition can be setup for you on request. Truffle hunting can be a bit like fishing, we can’t guarantee what you’ll find!

Thermal Springs and Spa
Tuscany has an abundance of natural thermal springs and spas you can visit. They range from the luxury resort centered around a spring to a DIY hike with a nice soak at a secluded spring. Most of them are heavily visited so do your research and see all your options. Below is a link to a selection of springs and another link to a long list of additional options.
San Giovanni Terme Rapolano - a little more fancy and formal.
List of 7 Hot Springs in Province of Siena - more of a nature vibe and accessible. These can get very crowded so do your research as to which one you’d like to visit.
Go Karting
Track is reserved for - Wed Oct 11th - Morning
Circuit Di Siena offers out door go kart racing against the backdrop of the Tuscan country side. Adults can race against each other while kids are on a timed lap. 20 Minutes from Tenuta Larnianone and requires your own transportation to and from the track. .
Adults 18+, for 12 or more of us, we’d get a 40min Grand Prix race for €50
Kids 18 and under, kids are not allowed to race in the Grand Prix but are allotted a 10min practice race for €20
Kids 10 and under are not allowed. They can watch tho!
Horse Back Riding
Tenuta Larnianone offers horse back riding on their property for those who would like to explore the 100 acres.

Bike Rental & Bike Tours
Take a tour of Tuscany by bicycle, or go for a leisure ride on your own, or follow the course of Strade Banche. Both D.F. Bikes & San Galgano Bike Rental offer bike rentals and bicycle tours.
For anyone considering bike riding from Tenuta Larnianone you should be aware that the drive / ride into the property is a 1 mile + dirt road.
Water Fall Hike
Hike along the Elsa River and see the natural Tuscan landscape and beautiful waterfalls along the way.
*We recommend downloading the AllTrails app on your phone and then downloading the hiking trail maps before leaving Larnianone. You can also check out many of the there trails in the region via the app.
On Site Wine and Olive Oil Tastings.
Tenuta Larnianone produce 4 award winning wines that you can sample on site! A tasting can be arranged with their in-house vintner.
In addition to their wines they also produce an award winning Olive Oil . Lavina, the woman who’s in charge of the Tenuta, is a grade 2 Olive Oil expert who will happily setup an olive oil tasting for you and explain the process and history of olive oil production as well the differences between the many variations of olive oil.
This option is in addition to the Chianti Wine tour thats been offered on Tuesday the 10th.
Inquire about this when you check in at the Tenuta. They typically need a few days notice to setup tastings.
Hiking with an Alpaca
Visit an Alpaca farm to meet and learn about Alpaca’s and other animals of the farm. The farm offers a tour of the farm or a hike with the Alpaca’s.
